FAQ
The short answers, said plainly.
- How does check-in work?
- We text you a keycode before you arrive. You walk in the front door, go up the stairs, enter the code. That’s it — no desk, no keys, no queue.
- Can I arrive any time of day or night?
- Yes. Your room isn’t gated by staffed hours. Pre-arrival email will include the code and the exact arrival instructions.
- Do I need a reservation at Piccolina?
- Strongly recommended, especially on weekends. Reserve directly on piccolinaphl.com — we don’t manage their book.
- Is there an elevator?
- No. The hotel is a four-story walk-up in an 1832 building. If you have mobility needs that rule out stairs, we’re unfortunately not the right hotel.
- Where do I park?
- There’s no on-site parking. The nearest public parking garage is a short walk from the property; we’ll include specifics in your arrival email.
- Are pets allowed?
- Not at this time.
- Are kids allowed?
- Yes. The Bunk Room is designed for small groups and families.
- Can I store luggage before check-in or after check-out?
- Unfortunately no. We don’t have on-site storage or the ability to hold luggage before check-in or after check-out.
- How small are the rooms, really?
- Smaller than a Marriott; larger than a budget hotel. Honest square footages are on each room page. The building is from 1832 — rooms reflect that.
- Is there a hotel bar or breakfast?
- Not from us directly — but Piccolina, the contemporary Italian restaurant downstairs, has an excellent bar and a serious food program. They’re a separate business, open for lunch and dinner (no breakfast). For breakfast, there are plenty of great spots a short walk away — we’re happy to recommend.
