Nothing surprising. Nothing in fine print.

Check-in

Check-in from 3:00 PM. There is no front desk. A 4-digit access code for your room is sent by text before you arrive.

Check-out

Check-out by 11:00 AM. Late check-out without prior approval incurs a $200 fee.

Deposit & payment

A 100% deposit is required at the time of booking. Authorized amounts may take up to 7 days to be released by your bank, and the hotel is not responsible for any resulting fees or charges. A credit card is the only accepted form of payment.

Cancellation & changes

Cancellations or changes made 14 or more days before check-in receive a full refund minus a $25 fee per room.

Cancellations or changes made less than 14 days before check-in are subject to the full cost of the stay.

All cancellation and change requests must be emailed to info@societyhillhotel.com.

Accessibility

Society Hill Hotel is a four-story walk-up in an 1832 building. There is no elevator, and the property is not ADA-accessible.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Amplified sound and excessive noise are not permitted during these hours.

No-party policy

Society Hill Hotel enforces a strict no-party policy. Violations result in immediate eviction without refund.

Conduct

Society Hill Hotel reserves the right to request immediate eviction without refund if a guest's behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to other guests.

Smoke-free

The hotel is a 100% smoke-free facility — rooms, hallways, stairwells, and common areas. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited and will result in a fee of up to $1,000.

Pets

Due to our size and historic layout, Society Hill Hotel is not pet-friendly. Pets found on site incur a fee of up to $1,000. Service animals are welcome.

Security surveillance

For guest safety, 24/7 monitored audio and visual security surveillance is in place in common areas.

Photography & filming

Commercial photography and filming are prohibited without prior approval. Unauthorized use of images will result in a fee of up to $1,000.

Furniture & furnishings

Please return all items to their original placement before check-out to avoid additional fees.

Damage & cleaning

Guests are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning beyond normal use during their stay.

Special requests

We will make every effort to accommodate special requests, such as room-location preferences or additional amenities. Availability cannot be guaranteed in advance.
